Hello,
I got my Residence Card in 2009 through marriage to a EEA national. My husband got his British citizenship in 2012. When can I apply for British citizenship? Can I apply on the basis of my husband being a Brit Citizen as I have lived here in the UK for 4 years since we got married.

Moved to naturalisation section.

(You need to have lived in the UK in accordance with the regulations for five years first)

For naturalisation, you need to hold PR status. This is obtained after 5 years under the EEA regulations. Once PR status is obtained, for the naturalisation application itself, the residential period (for applicant married to BC) is three years.
