Proofs of residence of address for spouse .

Post by Nokia777 » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:27 pm

- I am Now an Irish citizen recently received Passport .

- My Wife NON EU she has applied for Naturalization 2 months ago and received letter for stage 2 as stage 1 is cleared .

- Please submit proofs of residence in the State for the last three months.

Example of proofs of residence are bank statement , utility bills , Revenue Commissioner letter, Social Protection letter, employment letter, doctors' letter, mortgage agreement etc. Proofs should include both your and your spouse's / civil partner's name and address. if you cannot provide this , Three (3) profs of residence in each name should be provided .

Issue:-
We do not have any proofs where we have name of both mentioned except (Car insurance letter ) as we are driving the same car and she is as named drive .

- She has following under her name .
- Bank Statement
- Doctor's Letter
- Driving license

- I have all other's under my name
- Doctor Letter
- ESB Bills
- UPC Bills
- My Bank Statement

Question:- Should we send the Car insurance letter as address as we have both name included in same letter ?

- Should the Driving license or car insurance letter will be considered as proofs of address ?

- How can we get combined letter ?

- Should we go to our GP Dr and ask him to issue letter for bout of us ?

- Please assist .
Kind Regards

OK you got it all wrong. Follow my advice and do nothing else as my advice is precise and accurate.

You mustn't provide documents where both your name and your wife's are both mentioned. You can provide these documents individually.

Example

You - Nauralised Irish

Bank Statement
Doctor Letter
ESB Bills
UPC Bills - Any 3 of those

Your Wife - Non EU

Bank Statement
Doctor's Letter
Driving license - I dont know if this is acceptable so she must try submit a Social welfare Statement letter or Employment letter or both.
I oppose stereotype, prejudice, xenophobe, judgmental, Ignorance, and beloved.

Does she have 2 different bank statements for the past 3 months? If yes I think these can count as 2 proofs and with her doctor's letter it is fine.

Otherwise, if you are about to receive you UPC/ESB bill, call them and ask them to add her name to the bill so that you can use it.

In that case then submit her Bank Statement, Doctor's Letter, Driving license and these if applicable: Mobile Phone bills or Hospital appointment card.
