Dependent PSW apply to tier 4 from outside uk

Hi,
My wife is on PSW dependent visa and planing to apply for tier 4 visa from Pakistan. If her tier 4 visa refuse than can we travel back to uk on our remaining PSW visa if its valid that time. Or UK embassy will cancel our PSW visa because of applying for tier 4 visa. Please reply .
