Vistor Visa for In-Laws -URGENT

Post by Parimala » Mon Sep 02, 2013 10:37 am

Hi ,

Apologies if this is not the right place for this post.

I am on Tier 1 General Visa. I am planning to invite my in-laws this month.

I have couple of Questions :
1. Should they be applying as a General Visitor or Family Visitor Visa?
2. My Father in law is a retired bank employee. He has a property and pensionto show as a supporting evidence . But my mother in law is a housewife and doesn't have any supporting evidence to prove that she would go back . Any suggestions?

Your help is greatly Appreciated!!

To show her intentions to leave the UK, she should have strong ties to somewhere else (or perhaps have strong ties to someone who has strong ties to somewhere else).

In this case , Can a letter from my father -in-law prove that he is supporting her and would continue to do so when they are back in India suffice?
Also their Marriage certificate probably?
