hi,

I am planning to apply for ILR at end of October. I came in November 2008. My wife joined me in Feb 2009.

My wife is away for almost 6 months during last year and might need to travel for a month due to emergency. So may be back just before application.

Will there be any concern regarding her recent absence?

I looked at some posts but not clear how recent changes (Jun/Jul ) impact this.

Also I have a girl who born in UK ( I got her PBS done valid till Apr 2014 )
Can I skip her in ILR application and straightaway apply for citizenship once we get our ILR?

Absences should be limited and for good reason.

Yes, once you're settled, granted ilr, your child will be entitled to register as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA on form MN1.

is there a way one can quantify limited absence & also how does one classify good reason for dependent?

Hi,

I have applied today and got the earliest one which was November the 1st,however I kept on checking every 15 minutes! Seriously! Got one for the 18th of October just now.

Few more queries.

1. can't see new forms from 28 October. Anybody has idea?
2. I have taken appointment of 30 October. If I get early appointment, would I be charged for rescheduling?

You can use the old form (current one) for 21 days after 28-oct-2013.

A child born in the UK will be entitled to register (not naturalise) as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA.

So long as the child has valid leave it should be ok. However, put the application in to register as soon as you are granted ILR.
