ill be grateful if someone can tell me how much savings are required fir me a british ti sponsor a friend for a a months visit?
ive recently become selfemployed so can provide savings statements but not wageslips
He is civil servant in pakistan, and will return to his job and family

There is no tangible sum and it depends on the scope and intentions of the visit. You could a millionaire but if he can't demonstrate a social and economic ties to PK, the visa may not be issued. As long as you are both in the black and have a regular cash-flow of income, and he has good ties, there should not be problem.

Your bank statements showing your regular and historical cashflow is sufficient. Whether you are working or otherwise is not relevant to your ability to provide for his needs while he is the UK.

And does he have to have a letter frm his employer confirming his leave? Does ut have to specify his trip to UK?
