Can I apply for Naturalization without PR?
Unmarried partner of a EEA national that has been exercising treaty rights for the past 9 years.
September 2006: Start living together as a family my partner an EEA national, my partner's son also an EEA national and I.
August 2009: while my RC application was in process, I got a Family Permit to re-enter the UK, after visiting some family overseas.
March 2011: I Obtained RC.
Total time Living together as a family for 7 years, UNMARRIED.
Additional info:
I applied for RC in September 2008, got certificate of application sent to the correct address and the following letters were sent incorrectly to my neighbours who did not notify me of this. After 2 years UKBA discontinued my application on the grounds that they could not confirm that I was still in the country.
In September 2012 applied for PR and got refused on grounds that I needed to wait 5 years after I obtained my RC in 2011.
Looking into the possibilities of applying for naturalization without obtaining PR first. My partner and I have both the life in the UK certificate, also, my partner and son have both obtained confirmation of their PR.
Any advise will be much appreciated.
