Dependent ILR When Main Applicant Hasnt applied ILR YET

Post by kais » Wed Sep 04, 2013 1:52 pm

Hi

I with my wife will be applying for ILR in around March 2014 for ILR as my Tier 2 General Visa extension is upto end of March 2014. In the ordinary course we will both apply ILR same time then, but just curious that can my wife apply for ILR even before I apply for ILR(as she has been living here more than 3 years) OR she can only apply WITH my when I apply for ILR.

Thanks

It's a very obvious question . Dependent's ILR outcome depends on main applicant. If ILR for main applicant is refused it will automatically be refused for dependent. Therefore dependants can apply ILR either at the same time or later but not before .
