I'm a silent reader of this forum, get a lot of useful information, thank you every one.
I think the service in the Croydon PEO is very good, fast and efficient, all the staffs are friendly and helpful, the only aspect didn't satisfy me is the price of the service, £37xx !
From my experience, I will suggest there is nothing to worry about if you do real job, pay your tax, respect the law, carefully prepare your documents, and have a look the topic ‘FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 2/HSMP/Tier 1 - Read before posting’ in this forum.
Switched from student visa to T1 general at XX/0ct/2008 in the UK, extension granted at XX/Oct/2011, have 2 dependent, wife (switched from T1 PSW to T1 General dependent in Jan 2012) and a son born in June/2011 in the UK, 121 days absent from UK.
Booked appointment 42 days before application, plenty of spaces in every PEO, paid £300 next day.
Arrived in Croydon PEO at 9:10, went through the security check, got token, paid £34xx, met a staff to take passport information, organise all paper works in bags, and submitted to another staff when biometric was taken, told to wait 1-2 hours, go back to cafe, bought cup of tea, sit down, at 10:28 am.
My biometric is under verification at 10:28, change to ‘under consideration’ soon, and are called to collect document at 11:20 am, got 3 approval letters and told the BRP will be delivered to my home address.
I’m a limited company director, employed, get payment from both PAYE and Self-assessment, my PAYE salary is enough to claim the points, so, didn't claim the income from the self-assessment in the application form.
The documents I submitted with photocopies
Payslips
Bank Statements cover the period.
life in the UK
Birth Certificate
Police Registration Certificate
Marriage Certificate
Academic Qualification
Cohabitation evidence 24
P60: 2010,2011,2012,2013
Land Registry
Passports (Old and new)
They returned all original documents but didn't keep all photocopies.
Photocopies the case worker didn’t keep
Marriage certificate
Academic Qualification
Land Registry
Some of the cohabitation evidence
This forum suggest the P60s is not necessary, but prepare them if require. For my case, the case worker did keep the photocopies of all the P60s
I think it is important to let you know what the case worker kept from my 24 pages evidence of cohabitation.
I submitted follow documents with photocopy,
4 x Council tax bill (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) to me and my wife.
12 x phone bill, 6 of mine, 6 of my wife
4 x Letters from hospital, all to my wife.
4x first pages of bank statement, all to my wife.
But, the case worker only keep photocopies of follow documents
2012, 2013 council tax bill
My wife’s 4 bank statements covers 2011-2013
Therefore, I think the council tax bill is very important.
I hope my information will help, thank you very much, and good luck.
