jSA with COA

Post by dalebutt » Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:47 am

Does anyone knows if one will be able to claim JSA with EEA2 certificate of application? I am looking to do a course which is quite expensive, asked the job centre if they could sponsor me, they said I have to have a live claim and that they can only pay half towards the course. My application is still pending, I know it will have no effect on my pending application but I'd like to know if the COA will be sufficient?

Thanks.

If you have the right to reside (family member of EEA national exercising treaty rights i assume) then you can claim benefits.
