Letter from employer

Post by sac666 » Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:53 pm

Hi

I will be applying for my Tier1 General Extension. I have set up my own Private Company.

I have presently collected the following documents to support

1. Letter from accountant indicating the net / gross profit
2. Invoice summary ( signed by the accountant )
3. Salary Slips ( signed by accountant / myself ( director ) )
4. Dividend declarations ( signed by accountant / myself ( director ))
5. Bank Statements ( business )
6. Personal Bank Statements
7. Company Incorporation Certificate.
8. Degree Certificate.
9. Contract letters
10. Invoices
11. My passports and residential permit
12. Dependent's ( wife / son / daughter ) passorts and residential permits

Could someone advice me with

1. Since I am working through my companay, do I need to submit 'The Letter From Employer' and if it is relevant in my case. If yes what would it be ?
2. The dates on Salary Slips differ from the actual payment date however the amount match and the 'Letter from Accountant' indicates the actual dates of payment
3. Any additional documents needed for Dependents
4. Any additional documents needed to support my application.

Thanks

Hi,

In my case I asked my accountant to mention on letter how much NI I have paid and its class .

I noted that CW was specifically interested in amount in tax I paid being employee of my own company. NI Class determines whether you're employed of self-employed. So if you're employed by your own ltd company then NI class 1 is applicable.

Secondly letter also mentioned Gross and Net Dividend I had withdrawn.

Cheers!
