naturalization application help please

Dear Moderators,

I have a query regarding naturalisation applications.

I have been in the UK since 2008 as a postgraduate student then changed to a spouse visa in September 2011. Last week, i was granted ILR based on based on a spouse visa.

I will apply for naturalization soon as a meet the requirements of 3 years legal stay.

I have looked at the application form and found 'PAYE contribution' I am a full time PhD researcher until this moment, and not working at the moment and i do not have any Paye contribution. Will my application be acceptable if i put in the occupation as a PhD researcher?

See employment is not a requirement.
