Bringing my wife from India as my dependent Tier 2(General)

Hello,

I am on Tier 2(General) in the UK. I got married in June this year and my wife has made an dependent application in Kolkata. I am just getting a bit concerned about the waiting time. Her application went in on 16/08/2013 and it has been more than three weeks.

Please could anyone suggest if this has anything to do with this period being particularly with all the tier 4 student applicants?

I had provided all documents including employer's letter and really made sure her application is as clear as possible.

Any comments will be highly appreciated.
