I am currently on Tier-1 General. My visa is valid till June 2015 however I’m eligible to apply for ILR end of October 2013 (since I had to file an extra extension to overcome the gap of 5 years). I got married few months back and now have to file visa for my wife. My question is shall I wait till end of October 2013 and file the dependant visa once I have my ILR or apply before my ILR?
I've heard it takes over 6 months for ILR dependents compared to around 4 weeks’ time for Tier-1 dependents to be granted visa.
