Visitor visa - need help/advise

Post by DVirchand » Wed Sep 11, 2013 6:13 pm

Hi

We would like invite my wife sister (21 year old) to visit us for less then 6 month. I am a British Citizen and my wife hold an India passport with EEA Residence permit. I and my wife both work,

Now my wife sister is 21 year old living in India with her mother and younger bother. She do not work or study. Also she do not have good bank balance in her India bank account.

Please help us on how can we apply for visitor visa for her? From my side all support docs are strong but how can we demonstrate that my wife sister is genius visitor and she will leave UK end of her visa? I can put 2-3 Lakhs Fixed Deposit in her name and my return Air Fare which we can include with her application? Is this going to be enough proof?

Thank you in adv for your valuable advise, it is much appropriated

I am afraid depositing a large amount of money just before applying for visa, or attaching a return ticket is no proof that the person will return home after visit.

Only you know the reasons why they will return back home.Jobs, family, savings ,property etc all combined are a good reason. The fact that she is single, not working, no savings, no property, no kids/partner etc is going to make it very difficult.

The only thing you can do is to apply and honestly and genuinely explain the reasons for the visits and the reasons why she will go back. It is possible that they may well believe her and grant her visa.....but its going to be hard going

Thank you for your quick reply and advise

She has family (mother and young bother) in home country. I hope this will help. She also previously worked in Jewelry shop but pay was only INR 3000 per month paid cash.

Thank you

I am trying to sponsor my wife younger sister for sort family visit.

She is 21 year old and employed by Gold shop with Rs 5,500 monthly salary paid. Her is salary is give to her mother every month for household cost and not deposited in her Bank account.

Do you think she has good tie to go back to her home country after her visa expires? we will enclose her employment letter with no objection for leave and also state that she has mother and younger bother that she would return to. We will not include her Bank Statement as there is not good current balance but there was some much in and out of here account over the years because we transfered them from here.

Thank you for your advise
