I would like anybody to give me advice on what to do in my case.
Actually i am an Ivorian by nationality , but the wife of a UK national settle in the uk with an indefinate leave to remain, and i have a Primary european qualification in Medicine from France. During my final year, my wife a i spoke to the GMC officers, and were advised to make sure i do finished in france and do my intenship after wich i will register to the medical board, hence it will be easier to have a full registration with the GMC here in the uk. 6 months ago, i finally came back to the uk and summitted all the requested documentation, after which i was invited for an ID check at the GMC office, and was later given a certificate of full registration with licence to practice in the uk. But 5 months later, i received a letter from the GMC's inverstigation and Intelligence Officer telling me that an administrative error was made during my application, that i do not have an EC right , therefore my registration will be cancelled, and i will have to used the International graduate route ( PLAB) unless i provide a proof of EC right. Unbelievable because throughout the application process, in no occasion was i asked for to demonstrate an EC right, even in all our correspondance, nothing like that was suggested.
Can some body please tell me what to do in such a stressfull situation????
Thanks for your help
