dependant visa

hi all can some one provide help please on the below

i came to uk on tier 4 student visa in 2010 and move to PSW in 2011 and now am married and my wife want to do a phd as both of us are on psw now and i will apply to be her dependant,
i want to know if this is possible with out any of us going back home
