overstayed visit visa .

hi all friends .

i would like to get your kind advise about my mother overstayed as visitor.
my mum came to uk as visitor september 2009 and for some family reasons back home i decided not to send her back . she had six months visa on that time and expired in march 2010.

now she has no visa or any documents and i made a big mistake that i have not applied her any asylum or anything . i always scared for her bcoz she is now illeagle and can be removed any time if ukba found that she is living here without any visa.
i have indefinate leave to remain and married with a british citizen .
my mother is 52 years old .
i do not know what to do . i spoke with lawyer and she said if im gona apply her asylum or anything there is 99% chances for refusal .
if i send her back on travling documents and ask her to apply visit visa again from my country pakistan and stay as leagle all the time . is that possible ?
please let me know guys . im really worried.

my mother got physically abused by my father and my brother in law .
as you know guys that we pakistanies do arrange marriege most of the time . and mum agreed for my sisters marriage with her sisters son . my dad was not happy on that time and i was in england .
after somtime my borither in law got married again and when my mum tried to say somthing then he beated my mum up . my father blaming my mother for all this and beated her as well .
there is a big story behind this . my mum had visa on that time and she came england .
my father do not talk with me as well my mother . i have not heard anything from my dad since my mother came to me in england .
i tried to talk with him but he never replies.
