RLMT

Post by mangomm » Mon Sep 16, 2013 7:28 am

Hi all,

After your helpful advice, and looking over gameover's case, I have applied for the visa without CoS, as my employer has not yet heard back about his Sponsorship Licence.

My PSW visa has now expired. I have one question, and that is, am I still switching from PSW to T2, excusing my employer from doing the RLMT? Or, because my visa has expired, does my employer need to list the job for 28 days? The job has never previous been listed publicly.

Cheers.

once your employer receives the sponsor licence they will be exempt from doing a RLMT because you last had leave in the T1 PSW category.

Keep your fingers crossed that your application is not decided before they obtain the sponsor licence and assign the CoS.

Thanks for the reply, manci!

Definitely all fingers crossed here. It is a bit disconcerting because it seems T2 visa applications can be decided in a matter of weeks, and the sponsorship licence can take months!
