Hi,
As I know, many people apply for citizenship after they get their Indefinite Leave to Remain. I am wondering staying continually for 6 years on Tier 1 visa(still valid for 2more years) makes me eligible for applying British Citizenship. I need some clarification on the 'Immigration time restrictions' section.
First Visa approved - September 2008(for 3 years)
Came to Uk - February 2009
First Extension - September 2011(for 2 years)
Second Extension - September 2013 (for 3 years, not eligible for Indefinite leave to remain as I fell shortage by two months)
From Febraury 2009 to Februrary 2014 = 5years(Tier 1 valid till Sep. 2016)
Instead of applying for Indefinite leave to remain, can I apply for British Citizenship in March 2015. Does this satisfy this 'Immigration time restrictions' clause? By March 2015, I don't have any restriction in past 12 months on my visa validity.

Appreciate any advice or comments.
Thanks,
Kiran
