ILR

Post by anu85 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 6:22 pm

I want to apply for ILR and want to know if i am eligible and if i am how do i go about applying. I have been in this country since January 2003, however due to misplace document by home office i don't think the first three 3 years count. I went back in august 2006 and came back in september 2006 on student visa, then was on post study and now i am on work permit until March 2015. My dad had indefinite remain to stay in UK, not sure if i can apply via that route.

A certificate of approval is no longer required. Contact your local register office and make an appointment.

I was rejected entry at Heathrow airport and was told i have to return back however my dad appealed it on my behalf as i was under age. We waited for until july 2006 and went to court. The court decision was not in my favour so i voluntarily went back and reapply from my country and came back on student visa.
