Hello all,
I've been following this forum for a while now. My T1 entrepreneur application was refused in June and appeal filed. I've just got a date for an oral hearing next month - 15th October.
The refusal reasons given by the HO were:
1. My advertising material did not have my contact details. I submitted printout outs from my company's website showing our business activities, my profile and the contact page with registered address, email address and phone number. I really don't understand what was meant by contact details not provided to be honest!
2. My contract did not show trading activity but was an employment contract.
The contract submitted had my name and my company's name on it; the client and an agency acting as an intermediary. It stated the nature of services provided which the HO acknowledged was above NVQ level 4.
My lawyer thinks the case worker simply did not understand the nature of the contract/business. I included client invoices and business bank account statements showing client payments into my business account and I've been trading since Sept 2012.
I've prepared a business plan for the appeal but I'd appreciate any thoughts, tips to help me prepare for the appeal.
Many thanks.
