PIO for uk born child who never held Indian Passport

Post by z18runway » Wed Sep 18, 2013 12:13 am

Hi, thanks in advance.

My UK born child has never held Indian passport, and i am planning to get PIO for my child.

As the child didn't hold the Indian passport so there is nothing to surrender to get the surrender certificate.

Now to go get PIO what are the documents to submit for that child ?

While applying for PIO for children, do they retain parents Passport and BRP until they grant PIO for children,

Or just hand over back the originals once they check on applying day.
