Very Imp Application on 21st september

Post by sirish0909 » Thu Sep 19, 2013 2:59 pm

I have got an appointment on saturday 21st september for my ILR

I have got visa stamped 08/10/2008
entered UK 14/11/2008
Current visa expiry 14/10/2013

Based on 28 days rule I can apply for ILR now right?

And 6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This
refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning
of the period of stay on which this application is based :

I know 6.1 I should enter 14/11/2008 but this application is based on my visa stamp date which is 08/10/2008 please confirm what I should update for 6.1 and also confirm this is with the ILR rules

Apology for opening new topic but I need this to be answered very quickly please please help me

From 28 days before 08/10/2013.

6.1 - 14/11/2008 (EC: 08/10/2008).

Thanks Ton Amber....... as you have said I will update 6.1 as my first date entered to UK 14/11/2008

And would you advise to print the rule from the home office website and give with the application for calculatiing continous 5 years period? or put a note in my covering letter to say I am applying on 28days rule?

Or I don't have to mention any thing assuming the case worker would know the rules? only reason to worry if once of the case worker does not know the rule he might just cancel my application then I would have all the hassel to appeal ect. :D

Thanks Again Sirish

If you're applying at a PEO you can speak to the caseworker if necessary, they should know the rules.

Congratulations.

May I ask, if you were required to present bank statements and pay slips no older than one month? I am applying in October and am presenting pay slips from Sep 2012 to Aug 2013 and same for bank statements - My concern is if they ask latest bank statement and salary statement - as I will not have the bank statements for September when I go for the PEO appointment

Hi Sirish,

Congrats. Out of interest. Do you live in Glasgow or you booked your appointment for the venue.

Regards
