Hi, I'm new and have been looking through other posts (and websites!) but haven't found an answer for my question yet, if anyone can offer advice or their experience, that would be great.
My boyfriend has applied for a visitor visa to the UK for a two week period for the first two weeks in October. He applied last week and we are expecting a decision any time now. I'm preparing for if his Visa is refused because I think he might not have put all he could in
The application he has submitted includes: a letter of invitation for both myself and my Mother, both of which confirm the address of main stay to be our family home, scans of both of our passport bio pages, the multiple visa stamps in my passport for me visiting him over the past two years, a letter confirming his employment, salary and confirmed dates of holiday from his employer, his payslips and 6 months of bank statements, hotel confirmation booking for a stay in London, confirmation of theatre bookings whilst in London (paid for in full by me) and a further planned itinerary for things like museums and galleries etc, emails between us discussing him coming over to the UK etc.
The only thing is, he has not written a letter of application, merely stated his reason for visiting on the application form as "seeing my girlfriend and tourism" and he has not put any info regarding flights in because he took the advice not to book flights before having the visa to mean don't put anything about them in the application!
I'm a bit wiser to how it could have been improved since I have had a look on the different forums around, but can anyone give an idea of if they think he has a chance of getting this visa or if we might need to have a second application? If we need a second application, I want to be prepared because I haven't got any flexibility with work for the time that I have booked off!
Thanks in advance everyone
