Need help - Switching from tier 2 ict to general

Hi, I've got my tier 2 ICT which is valid from sep'13 - sep'15 .

I have not traveled on it yet. Can I switch to tier 2 general immediately or does the cooling off period apply ?

Switching means apply from inside the UK - you can't do that but you can apply outside the UK. The cooling off period won't apply if you never entered the UK.

If anybody who is in Tier 2 ICT established staff and want to apply from outside Uk fir diiferent Tier2 category (general)with new Sponsorer then...does cooling off period applicable?
