Hi All,

I am posting this on behalf of my friend.

My friend came to UK on 5 year work permit in 2008 Dec and he is completing his 5 years in this Nov.Due to personal reasons, he is not applying for ILR now and his company is willing to extend(Company will apply for ICT visa for 2 years) his visa.His question is, after changing visa category to ICT long term visa,is he still eligible for ILR in future?

Does he have a conviction?

No..Due to financial reasons(Got shocked after calculating the money to be spent for ILR Application for his family) he is not applying now.This is the reason actually.

The prices will only go up, might as well spend it now.
