Need advice...

Post by tariq_ayan » Sat Sep 21, 2013 12:53 am

Dear all members.

i am a Pakistani resident living in Pakistan. I was in UK for my studies and got into a relationship and had my daughter who is 9 years of age. I came back in 2009 and applied for a visa to visit my daughter and it got rejected few times since than I have been in touch with her through Skype and telephone. She is a British citizen by birth living with her mom.
I cant go to UK and my ex partner and my daughter cannot come to Pakistan because they are of different religion which for some reason makes a hell of a difference.
now my question is can i come to France through non EEA family member route.it will be a simple visit for 1 to 2 weeks for now than i plan to do this every 3 to 4 months. my ex partner (mother) is willing to travel to France for me and my daughter to meet.
I have been through enough pain for last few years for not holding my baby so kindly guide me to the best way possible.
I will look forward to your responses.
Thanks you

You appear to have a complicated situation. Have you tried to appeal any of the UK decisions?

Anyway, for France, you could apply for a tourist visa. Generally, parents require to be dependent on their children to qualify under EU route.
