Employer's name on salary slip and bank statement diffferent

Post by hc » Sat Sep 21, 2013 6:49 pm

Hi,

I am applying for HSMP Tier 1 (general) extension shortly.

I an earn part of the total salary through an Indian employer. The problem I am facing is that the salary slips generated by my employer is through the parent company ( being a centralised payroll department), however in the bank statement, name appears is of its sister concern company.

The company saying that they cant change their salary format (obviously) and regenerate salary slips, however they are willing to mention clearly on the reference letter that the salary is paid through sister concern.

Would it be acceptable?

your prompt reply would be much appreciated, it will be great help.

regards

It should not be a problem, as long as there is no discrepancy in the amount credited in the bank and the salary slips reflect. Also, try to get a letter from the employer confirming the same.
