HI PLEASE ANY ONE CAN HELP WITH ,
ENTERED UK 2003 30TH AUGUST
ABSENCE 240 DAYS IN ONE GO DUE TO IN HOSPITAL ,GOT LETTERS AND PROOFS FROM DOCTORS.

FULL 10 YEARS HAD VALID VISA ,NEVER LATE FOR EXTENSIONS

THINKING TO APPLY WHAT ARE CHANCES TO GET ILR IN 10 YEAR RULE
IF I SEND NOW ,HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
BECAUSE IN MARCH 2014 EXTENSION DUE FOR TIER 2 SKILLED WORKER.
CURRENTLY WORKING AS SYSTEM DEVELOPER ON £32500.

IF DO NOT GET PASSPORT BEFORE MARCH 2014 HOW DO I DO EXTENSION ?

Please do not use all uppercase. If you have genuine circumstances which led to excessive absences (i.e. medical reasons) and have documented proof for the 80 excessive days then you should be able to apply. You could always vary a valid application if you wished before a SET(LR) decision is reached. What are your total absences over the 10 years period?

total absence in 10 years under 500 days.
all holidays were paid except long absence in one go 240 days.

my question is also ,lets suppose i do not get my decision before March which is my Tier 2 extension month, what will i do?

If refused/appeal and get refused after your leave expires. Then you can apply for your extension but it would have to be a perfect application as they'd be no right of appeal.

What is your suggestion ,i should wait and go for extension first and then ILR on 10 years in March.
