Hi, I am on tier 2 general, to bring my wife here i heard that i need Marriage certificate, but i only got marriage affidavit with notary, is that be acceptable for the visa purpose, can any one please help

I am also having my name on my wife's passport as well, is it ok to apply without a marriage certificate?

For applying a Visa for her and to prove the relationship I only got the following ones available
my name as her spouse on her passport
marriage affidavit with notary
wedding invitation
wedding photographs

can you please guide me that does the above ones will be enough to prove our relationship

Could you please provide the list of document requires for the spouse of tier 2 general

Maintanence letter from 'A' rated sponsor -Original
Marriage Certificate-Original
Birth Certificate (for kid)-Original
Husband Passport copy with Visa
CoS copy
Employment letter of the Husband
TB certificate (for both wife and kid)-Original

Please add if I am missing something. By the way did you apply in Chennai. How many days it took you to get this visa for your wife.
