I think that you should be able to get an SIA licence as your business can do any work if you are on 200k route but if you are on 50k route, then the only issue is that you must invest separate 50k funds on a service which is at or above NQF level 4.

Example is that if your business offers 4 different services, at least one of the services must be at or above NQF level 4 and you should spend 50k on that particular section of your business with evidence to show when renewing your visa.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.

it says you can only work for the business you invest in provided at the level 4 or above and working as a security Guard/officer is at level 2(QCF), if you looking to provide security services by providing guards(excluding yourself) you need SIA contract scheme approval not a Badge once you open up a company as a security operative then you find yourself a role within company which meets your visa requirements in terms of being involved in an activity said to be level 4 or above..

thanks..

agreed with both of you, after getting the badge my job title would be lets say marketing manager / customer relation manager (corporate customers) only, or any title or job above NQF level 4 or above, but business main activity would be level 4 and above, bcz once open an company you can expand it in different areas, e.g TESCO main business is retail, but do insurance, Tesco bank, etc

I don't think you can apply SIA licence and also after setting up security company you will be providing security services (actually working as a security guard) which is not near level 4 , it is simply doing security job on self employment basis
