Does my husband meet 5 year

Post by Fairychild » Thu Sep 26, 2013 12:11 pm

Taking a cheeky chance here as I suspect the answer is no but thought I'll check just in case.

My husband was in the UK from August 2007 to August 2009 on a working holiday and then returned in May 2010 as my Tier 1 Dependant.

We have indefinite leave to remain and can apply for naturalisation end of October.

Any possiblity the 2 years from 2007 to 2009 can count towards his 5 years residence or will he have to wait for me to apply first and then apply as partner of british citizen with 3 year residence?

Thanks in advance.

The periods in 2007-2009 may be included. However, the other requirements should also be satisfied.
