Hello people after long time !!!!

I am currently going through stress as I have my appeal next week and I am feeling anxiety, panic, stress all together.

Never been to court so its freaking me out.

While appealing when I consulted the solicitor and took opinions all were very positive.

Now when its close to the appeal date my solicitor is sounding funny by being diplomatic about there being 50 - 50 chances.

This is one of the main reasons why I am panicking.

For those who are not aware of my situation.

I am applying Tier 1 Entrepreneur - 50,000 from PSW

Applied last year in October 2012. Got refused on May 2013

Reason for rejection.

Insufficient funds which was clearly incorrect as the bank statements were provided.

Business cards not to a good level of satisfaction.

Business contract there was a genuine error of mistaken name of the other party which neither I realized nor the party realized.

Funds not available in UK - Again incorrect as the funds and the bank statement are from a UK bank.

Funds are still left in the account.

I am just stressing out so much as I am just wanting to get done with this asap and have my passport with me as I am really missing my passport more than anything - trying to be funny but still stressed.

This place/forum has always been there and feels I can receive some kind of positive motivation and strength which is lacking due to the situations and the damn solicitor.

Please pray for me and I am open to you suggestions and comments.

If someone has already been to the appeal please explain me what should be expected and how is it going to be.

Its like the terror of the unknown type of situation.

Relax you will be fine..Why don't you take a day out and go to the hearing centre before your appeal date? This way you can prepare yourself and not rely 100% on your solicitor! I mean this is your future we're talking about here, to the solicitor your just another cash cow

I witnessed 2 cases some weeks ago,I was shocked to see a so called 'Entrepreneur' that could not tell the difference between invoice and receipt HO Presenting officer asked why he didn't have a landline to which he gave the most ridiculous answer..He was just not prepared and his so called solicitor sat there like they didn't even discuss before they came into the room..

How would I know the appeal will be heard in the court will be in regards to Tier 1 entrepreneur rejection.

When you get to the hearing centre, clerks will check their list and ask you which type of application you have..(i.e. In country or from abroad) They will then find you what's relevant to you.

The best way to observe any hearing is to arrive early (10am) before proceeding starts..I can tell you the 3 times I have been to the hearing centre, there's always Tier 1 appeal been heard..

@ tier1enterpreneur, apart from your refusal reasons, also focus on your business plans and hope you have also start trading as HO could ask you any question apart from what you appeal against.

Don't forget that the main point of the refusal is usually to check entrepreneur who are genuine and the best way to proof that one is genuine is if the business is already trading. Take along with you to the appeal recent bank statement of your funds and also business invoices to prove that you are a genuine entrepreneur.
