Help required for UKBA site visit for Sponsor License

Post by robbyuk » Sat Sep 28, 2013 7:58 pm

Hello friends,

We have a UKBA site visit in 10 days for our Sponsor License and we need your help in order to validate whether we have all the required documents & processes in place for the audit.

Following is the list of documents we are maintaining for it:

1. UK company incorporation registration certificate
2. Corporate tax & VAT registrations
3. Employers’ liability insurance certificate
4. Office lease
5. Bank letter stating that we have operated the bank account satisfactorily
6. Attendance records for the employees
7. Migrant contact details
8. Process documents to describe how we manage communication to UKBA about Migrant details for example: change in circumstances, etc.

A simple question: What is the best way to show the attendance records management system, how we manage migrant details & other associated processes? Will they be interested to see our systems or will they just be interested to know the process around it which we can explain to them in the form of presentations?

If any of you have been through this process, kindly help us with details of your experience & what all things UKBA can ask us during the site visit so that we can be fully prepared for the same.

Moreover, if you feel if there is anything in addition to the above list required, please let us know.

Many thanks in advance!

Friends,

Just need to understand what in specific they will be interested in. As we have not been told by anyone, we are running around all corners for the preparation. If we get a crisp view on it from you, we'll be able to concentrate our efforts towards the right areas.

Your help is very much important to us.
Thanks in advance again !

How you keep records on attendance etc is down to you. As long as the UKBA view it as effective they should not have a problem with it.

Have a staff list plus proof that everyone is legal to work here (copies of passport covers and, where necessary, the stamps that give them the right to work) - these should be signed and dated by the person who copied them.

If you have sponsored migrants in the UK at the time of the visit they might want to interview one or check their job description or contract.

Every visit is different. Put the kettle on............
