Post by ASHWITH2013 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 11:14 pm

Hello,
Can anybody give me following question answers:

1. I got indefinite stamp in 10/12/2012, do i need to give
this test " speaking and listening qualification in English at B1 CEFR or higher, or its equivalent" to get my naturalization in december-2013.

thanks in advance.

Under what category did you get ILR? Do you have a degree taught in English?

As you satisfied an English Requirement for entry clearance that should suffice. Moreover, your MBA from a UK university also satisfies the B1 requirement by showing the degree certificate alone.

Naturalization

Post by ASHWITH2013 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 12:23 am

just clear, i have not given any test like IELTS or others when i came to uk to do MBA because there was no requirments for that time in 2005 in coventry university

2. i understand your second point.

in short, i do not need to give any test although i already passed UK life test.
my wife also get indeinite stamp on same date-10/12/2012,,,,,,,does she need to give this other test--speaking and english

thanks in advance

Your spouse will need to meet the B1 requirement, unless exempt. Again a degree NARIC comparable to a UK degree which was taught in English would suffice.

Hi Amber,

I have National Diploma in Business from a UK college which is also equivilant to 3 A levels, will that suffice the requirement for "Speaking and Listening Qualification in English at B1 CEFR or higher, or its equivalent"???

Thanks.

Not unless it meets the requirements as per new KoLL (click)

The National Diploma I have is being taught in English in the UK at a UK college and surely it is a higher level of qualification than ESOL and all that.

Do you think it is still insufficient?

Thanks.
