Tier1 -Dependant- UK and Outside UK Stay

Post by VijayUK » Mon Sep 30, 2013 12:04 am

Hi,

I am on Tier1 Dependant. I entered UK In march 2013. Visa valid till 2015.

My main applicant is on Tier1 and 2nd Extension.

However I am in need to go out of UK for my personal reasons.

what is the maximum period that I can stay outside Uk so that it will not have impact on my Visa.

and if my main applicant gets ILR..will I be eligible for ILR in 2015 or do I have to wait for another 3 years ?

Kind regards
Ratna Prabha Vijay

There isn't any rule that the period of stay for the dependent has to be continuous. However as per rules post 09-July-12, you will need to complete 5 years to be eligible for ILR.
