Professional Referee for naturalisation

Post by gurkhali » Tue Oct 01, 2013 12:01 am

Hi

I need a professional referee for my naturalisation and in the ukba website it says ex armies can be professional too.
Is it ok if he is ex army retired in 1997 or prior but has lived in uk for 5 years or more.
Someone i know is ex gurkha army and served for the queen(not directly) for 15 years. Was wondering if it is okay if he signs for me.

thanks for your help

Military Officer

gurkhali,

You mentioned that he was in the army for 15 years. Definition of a military officer means any person in a position of authority or command. An officer is someone who is responsible for the lives of the men in his command.

Did this referee reach that level in 15years only you and he would be able to tell.
cheers

thanks.

i also know someone who is a nurse but she has been working as a nurse for 1.5 yrs only. although her professional standing is less than 3 years, i have personally known her for more than 3 years. do you think they will still accept her as a professional referee?
