Tier 2 General visa refused, what will happen with CoS?

Hi there,

I got my Tier 2 General visa refused due to 'wrong' type of diploma (I had PG Diploma, not PG Diploma in Education)...

My question is what will happen to the CoS number now? It was issued to me last week. Would it be cancelled automatically and the company will be able to use it for someone else or not?
