my wife has applied for spouse visa which HO stated is on hold but she has a course to study in a University and she is to to attend in November and i am considering that is it possible to apply for student visa at the same time while spouse visa application is on hold/ being considered?

No, not possible, but the uni should not deny her admission if she is inside the UK and has a valid immigration status.

but can she apply for Tier 2 General if she get a sponsor company while the spouse visa application is still on hold ?
