ILR long residency but have been been absent for 674 days

Post by acaahg » Thu Oct 03, 2013 8:12 pm

Hello all,

Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am not very stressed and worrying that I do not have any available options to me.

I am currently on an Entrepreneur visa but finding it very difficult. I have been in the UK for 9 years. First entry on 04/09/2004. However I have calculated my absent days and they total 674 days. I understand that I can only be absent for 540 days and that discretion can be applied if I meet all the other criteria, which I do, I am just not sure what chances my application has.

Any advice you guys can give would be so helpful. I am not sure what my options are or how discretion is applied. But I have recently bought a flat in the UK and are very serious about settling here and making it a home.

Also any ideas about available options would also be good. I would like to just be able to apply now and be done with it as it is such a stressful thing to have to go through.

Thank you
