Help me out please

I am ready to apply under 50K including my dependant . Just realise that my spouse passport is expiring in 23 of Dec 2013. In this situation shall I renew her passport 1st then apply or will be alright without renewing ?

There is no need to renew it first as it is valid now therefore you can apply. It will not affect your application. However if you can wait and apply later on then you can go for renewal.
