MY friend had applied for eu form 3 and during the process he informed the department about their separation and their divorce in process.after 6 months process they approved his application.mentioned that you and eu citizen need to go GNIB to extend the visa for 10 years.He is just confuse now bec he already informed them that they are now separated and their divorce is in process. his current visa will expire on monday. kindly need your opinion.Thank you .

Is your friend in good relation with their ex-spouse? If yes I would go with the spouse and say nothing (they might have made a mistake approving the application but on the other end if your friend has a clear proof that he informed them he is clean).

He has good relationship with ex-spouse.but he don't want to bring her to GNIB.he has email proof that he informed the department about their separation.if he contact the department and confirm this letter status again.what could be the possibilities?
