Leave to Remain - Tier 2 - Short Term Staff

Hi All,
I am currently on Tier 2 Short Term Staff Visa which is expiring on 22.10.13, I have now received an extended COS until Feb 2014

Is there a deadline before which i need to apply for LTR or is it that I can apply for LTR before my visa expires ??

Are you asking if there is a deadline other than, or before, or instead of, the current date of expiry of your leave? No, can apply any time before it expires. If your leave were going to expire much later, there is a danger that the COS would expire before that (3 months), but this is not the case here.
