From Italy wishing to Stay in the US permanently.

I'm 22 yrs. old from Naples Italy and am on a Visa Waiver Program currently waiting to see if my admissions to USC are accepted. I plan to concentrate in the field of Music Composition whether I make it to the school or not.

I've been here close to 2 months thus far and need to start considering alternative options as to obtaining Residency, work permit, visa, ... basically all of them that will allow me to stay here.

As a student what direction should I go?

But if I were to keep searching for an employer for Sponsorship, are there any resources for me to look for past sponsors? Or even sponsors that are related to my field of work/study???
