Settlement visa for child

Hi,

We have applied for UK settlement visa for our daughter on 7th July,2013 from VFS@Hyderabad.

From then on visa status is - Your visa application has been forwarded to British High Commission
Both me and my husband hold a job in UK and i am currently on maternity leave in India. We both hold a PR as well
Not sure why it is taking so long as its almost nearing to 90 days (10 days short)

Anyone observed such delays?

They have closed offices I believe so perhaps that's why it's taking longer.
