UK Absence for Studies acceptable??

Post by shussain37 » Tue Oct 08, 2013 11:23 am

Hi,

I was on Tier-1 General extension and will complete my 5 years time next year. But, i am in Ireland (Republic of Ireland, not Northern Ireland) for my studies, so my absence from UK will be more than 180 days. I am self-employed and can prove income requirements earned within UK. Will it be acceptable if I write a letter to UKBA stating my reason for UK absence is full time study? can i still get ILR?

Please provide your valuable comments and help in this regard,

Many Thanks.
