(URGENT HELP PLEASE) ATAS Referee from Country of Origin

I applied for my ATAS certification on 31 August 2013 and provided them with two of my supervisors based in UK who have known me for more than 3 years.

So today, I have got an email from ATAS saying that "At least one of these referees must be an academic from your country of origin."

the problem that I have is that I have started my studies in UK all the way from pre-undergraduate (diploma) to master degree. That means I do not know anyone in my home country as I did not study at any university in Iran. I finished my high school there 8 years ago and as you may already know most of the school teachers in third world countries, do not have email address (only University lecturers have) and most of my school teachers are retired by now.

I came to UK in January 2009 and started my diploma as provided in my initial application. I can provide even more referee based in UK but there is no one back in my country as explained above.

Could you please let me know what can I do to rectify the issue please?

I am running out of my visa please help!!!
