Should a T1 dep travel within 3 months of initial visa issue

Post by bygodsgrace » Wed Oct 09, 2013 1:13 pm

Hi All,

I am applying for my child's Tier 1 dependant visa from India for the first time. After the visa issue, should the child travel within three months or 90 days?

Requesting your assistance on this query.

Thanks in advance,
Aks

There is no rule that states you must or must not travel within the first 90 days.

The advantage of entering the country within 90 days for the main applicant is that he will not need a 2nd extension to qualify for ILR.

Can any of the senior member please confirm that there is no rule for the dependant to travel within 3 months of visa issue?

Thanks in advance,
