Comment on not receiving Biometric card after winning appeal

Post by Splash » Wed Oct 09, 2013 1:38 pm

Is home office bound to issue biometric card after winning appeal and spending legal time period?.If not, What are the possibilities that can be assumed by home office before issuing biometric card?. Are home office giving waiting time as stress before issuing biometric card to Tier1 applicant or they want to introduce some law in which they can bound all the waiting applicants after winning appeal. As you remember in the beginning of 2013 they introduce law which affected those applicants who applied in 2012. Is there any chance that similar thing can happen?.

Stop making unfound assumptions.

there is no SLA regarding issuance of visas after successful appeals, so they just do as they wish.

this has always been the case with them and this lacklustre attitude regarding issuing visas after successful appeals is not restricted to just tier 1 applicants. other visa cartegories are also affected.

i remember about 4 years, my brother had his appeal allowed and it took the HO four months to call him to submit his passport to the consulate in charge....and this happened outside the UK and back then, there were no backlogs, etc like we do now.

all you do is just wait. when they get to your file, they will issue the biometric card and give you your docs.
